COVID-19 Protocols

UPDATED AS OF FEBRUARY 10, 2022

The health of our membership and the community is our top priority.  In order to ensure as safe an environment as possible,  the following policy has been adopted for anyone entering the premises:

  • Vaccination proof will be requested for anyone entering the premises, and masks must be worn at all times. For Shabbat, we request that you show a printed copy of the vaccine proof, rather than a digital version.

  • Before and after services, the entire area will be cleaned down and electrostatically sprayed.

  • We request that people respect social distancing when choosing where to sit.

  • Two Hepa / UV light air purification systems have been installed at both ends of the chapel.

  • The HVAC system has been modified to provide more air circulation.

  • NOTE: In order to allow the air circulation to be at its most effective, the doors to the chapel MUST be closed during the service. Please assist us in ensuring the doors remain closed, unless someone is entering or exiting the room.

  • We will be vigilant about the number of people who are in attendance on Shabbat. The chapel seats about 300 people, and we are permitted to allow up to 50% capacity. If we reach higher attendance numbers, we are prepared to move into the sanctuary in the middle of the service. Our plan is to resume Shabbat service in the sanctuary as per our usual annual schedule, in March.

  • Kiddush will be served in a sit-down style, with food individually portioned.
